On Cow Harbor Sunday, September 22, 2019, the short comedy “Lobster Pancake” will be performed during morning service at 9 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. This heartwarming short play is about tolerance and working together for the common good. It was written by local playwright Tammy Green and stars an All-Long Island cast of Laurie Atlas as Lobster and Wanda Owens as Pancake. St. Paul’s welcomes all to worship with them. About the Cast
Laurie Atlas (Lobster) holds a BA in Theatre and is a member of SAG-AFTRA. She has worked as a singer, television engineer, voiceover actress, radio and television performer. Her LI stage credits include “Calendar Girls,” “Boeing Boeing,” “Other Desert Cities, and “Over the River and Through the Woods.”
Wanda Owens (Pancake)has appeared in local theater productions of “Our Town,” “Almost Maine,” “The Bear,” and “The Renaissance Man.” Her credits include productions by Helen Murdock-Prep and Milton Bloch.
Tammy Green (Playwright/Director) founded Rubber Chicken Theater Company and is a member of the Dramatists’ Guild. She thanks St. Paul’s UMC and the cast for this wonderful opportunity.
