Dinner Church

NOTE: The monthly Dinner Church program has been suspended until restrictions on public gatherings are lifted. See below for information about this welcoming and inspiring program.

ALL PEOPLE OF ALL AGES ARE INVITED on the third Thursday of each month.  (NOTE: Dinner Church for March 19 has been cancelled.) The next gathering is scheduled for April 16. It begins at 6:30 and lasts as long as people linger.

Dinner Church is an innovative community outreach that brings people together in worship and fellowship in a warm atmosphere and elegant setting, with tablecloths and china dinnerware in the St. Paul’s Fellowship Room.  Soup, bread, and whatever people bring are served—but there is no requirement or expectation to bring anything.  The table is open for all to partake!

We gather as a loving community seeking a shared experience of the Holy Spirit.  Pastor Bette Sohm offers a short message illustrated with stories and designed to spark discussion around the table.  We sing some hymns, and we serve each other Communion.  We celebrate the sacredness of each other, and we enjoy getting to know one another.

So come one, come all!  For more information, contact the church office at 631-261-0804 or email spumc@optimum.net.
